Long-distance sled dogs need gear built to withstand extreme conditions. For many years, Canelana has developed coats for sled dogs and long-distance racing in close collaboration with active mushers – with a focus on temperature regulation, frostbite protection, low weight, a friction-free fit and quick drying.

Models built for extreme conditions – developed with active mushers

Canelana Racing is a sandwich-style coat with a lightweight ripstop outer shell, wool felt in the middle and mesh on the inside. The wool lining keeps the dogs warm without condensation, and the outer fabric protects against wind and snow.

Racing has been tested and used by many of the world's leading and most experienced long-distance mushers, and is built to last through many seasons.
