The bed is made of thick wool, has a 4 cm foam mattress in the middle and built-up rigid edges of foam rubber - a ‘sausage’ that can be removed for washing (zip opening around the entire outer edge underneath). Anti-slip fabric underneath. The mattress in the centre is loose, also with removable covers. The edge wool bed is a favourite with dogs - because they can lie with their head on the edge, and because the bed has an outer edge that makes it easy for dogs to understand that this is my space and gives them a sense of security.
