The CANELANA gaiters are made of softshell with a membrane. Wind-/waterproof, breathable, do not get wet/damp on the inside and do not make noise. Use this product instead of soap containing solvent.  For impregnation, we recommend Nikwax TX-Direct, which is intended for re-impregnation of all technical garments with membranes. Use after washing the garment with Nikwax Tech Wash and after every 3-4 washes. TX-Direct adds a water-repellent layer to the outer fabric, which is important to maintain the garment's breathability in wet weather.
